I'm a design-oriented software engineer, runner, and occasional writer.
Currently, I'm a founding engineer-designer hybrid at Atomscale. We're improving how atomic-scale materials are made by using agents to understand and guide the growth process.
Before that, I was a founding engineer at Otto Intelligence. We built financial management tools to help wealth advisors better discover and integrate their clients' values.
Earlier still, I was a cancer immunology researcher. I studied how wonky cholesterol metabolism in leukemia patients might suppress the immune system and worsen clinical outcomes.
My favorite long runs are along the Charles in Boston and the Kamo River in 京都.
